Yoobox is Live — A Thank You Note and What's Next
On September 19, 2025, Yoobox was introduced for the first time at the YOOtheme Community Day. It was a short, two-minute sneak peek — but the excitement, curiosity, and early feedback gave us a huge boost of energy and confidence to move forward. To everyone who was there in the room, and to those who later reached out — thank you. Seeing so many of you instantly got what we're trying to do (and already think of ways to use it!) was the best validation we could ask for.
What is Yoobox About
Yoobox was born from the need to make YOOtheme Pro layouts reusable and shareable. It rapidly evolved into a platform where you can store and share all your assets — layouts, presets, theme styles, dynamic content setups, and more.
We want creators to have a space where their best configurations live, ready to be imported, reused, or shared with others in just a few clicks. If you've ever wished you could take a perfect layout — with all its settings and connected content — and just drop it into a new project fully working... that's exactly what we're building toward.
Who is Behind Yoobox
Miljan Aleksic - founder and lead developer. Co-founder of ZOOlanders and a long-time YOOtheme Core Team collaborator, works extensively with clients who face challenges that Yoobox is designed to solve.
Milos Aleksic - team member and collaborator. Active in the YOOtheme ecosystem since the ZOO era and part of the original ZOOlanders team, helps clients solve complex challenges with YOOtheme, ZOOlanders, and now Yoobox.
What's Next
We are in the early stages, and there is still a lot of work to do. Here's what we're concentrating on in the coming months:
- Platform Basics: Building a Solid Foundation. A platform is only as good as its foundation, and we're taking the time to get this right. Our first priority is ensuring the Yoobox platform is reliable, secure, and scalable.
- Yoobox Plugin: The Bridge Between Platform and Editor. The plugin is where most of you will interact with Yoobox daily, so we're obsessed with making this experience seamless, feature-rich, and convenient.
- Private Assets: For Individuals and Teams. Once the platform and plugin are rock-solid, we're going to introduce private assets and/or spaces.
We're also exploring ideas like Asset Analytics, Collections & Curation, and Asset Marketplace, but only when the time is right and the community would really benefit from them.
